Football For Peace works as an organized commitment of Goodwill, working on concrete Education Through Sport LEGACY initiatives, assisting the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace.
Football For Peace is a movement which has evolved from the collaboration and vision of two International Charities – The Gol Iluminado Foundation from the USA and Chile and the Kashif Siddiqi Foundation which is based in the United Kingdom.
In alliance with our legacy partners, Peace and Sport (under the High Patronage of His Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, The Southall Trust and Peace One Day we focus on implementing international peace matches on different continents, which promote cultural exchange and peace, while providing opportunities in health care, education, shelter and food for less fortunate families.
Using the visibility of Football For Peace around the world, we aim to help children achieve their dreams and goals for healthcare, education, protection, equality, peace and empowerment of women in sport.
This platform also assists us to raise funds to provide resources, food, health care and education for less fortunate individuals.
We aim to help recognition of the 21st of September as the International Day Of Peace. Every year in collaboration with Peace One Day, in support of the One Day One Goal campaign, we host a Peace Match on The 21st of September and stream the annual Peace concert.
Using the power of historical icons and high profile ambassadors we provide workshops and clinics in partnership with local orphanages and hospitals in the host country.

Football For Peace showcases high profile events to convey our message of peace and allow people to voice their values and beliefs. Each Peace match has a unique model and aim attached to it as a legacy outcome in the host country.
Each year, we call on the best South American star soccer players who play in the national championship and those acting abroad to play in the Peace Match.
We create awareness and help the most needy in Chile, as the entrance to the stadium corresponds to a kilo of non-perishable food.
Since its first edition to date, we have collected over 45 tons of food, benefiting about 10,000 people, which have led to different nursing homes and children in vulnerable situations.
DO YOU WANT TO HELP US PROMOTE PEACE?
We provide tickets to underprivileged children to attend and participate in the match and festivities. Our Ambassadors provide a clinic for 500 local children and the participating players visit the Van Buren Hospital Children’s Center. The Partido por la Paz raises tons of food annually for the local community at Christmas time and provides the funding to sustain our Education Through Sport Legacy Projects throughout Chile.
The City of Dubai, the regional Sports Council and the U.A.E. region had a fantastic opportunity to express their vision on key global issues, while increasing even further their international influence on the crucial issue of dialogue between nations, understanding and peace. From the Platform of Football For Peace on World Peace Day, this dialogue will continue to grow. Supporting partners The Dubai Sports Council and Peace and Sport will raise awareness and support for Malala Yousafzai and women’s education, sport participation and equality. This vision will act through a series of events and activities leading to the Peace match between Pakistan and UAE on the International Day of Peace, September 21, 2013.
Football For Peace stands by Malala and GIRLS around the globe who are boldly speaking out as advocates for education and equality. Malala’s bravery has put a human face to the struggles and aspirations of young women who live in difficult, dangerous parts of the world where they must face down overwhelming odds every day.
